Leather Laptop Sleeves and Cases, Cut to Your Laptop
Two laptops sold as 14-inch can differ in width and depth, because the number measures the screen, not the body. So every sleeve and case here is cut to one machine. On the product page you type the model, say MacBook Air 13-inch, or its width, height and depth, and the sleeve is sewn to those numbers. If your laptop lives in a snap-on shell, measure it with the shell on.
Zipper, tie, buckle or snap
Pick the closure first, since it decides how you get the laptop in and out. If you want a zip, two styles open along two edges: the leather MacBook sleeve with zipper has a zipped pocket on the front, and Lagom has an open slip pocket instead. GripTie closes with a long leather tie. Nord tucks its flap under a band across the front, with two flat pockets below it. BuckleHold buckles shut and opens out flat; inside the flap you get a pocket and a pen loop. The Custom Laptop Sleeve is the plain one, a felt-lined pouch with a flap held by a short leather tab. The Leather Laptop Case is an envelope with a snap and a crocodile pattern pressed into the leather.
Leather and colors
Most of them come in Light Cognac, Cognac, Brown, Black and Green, and Nord adds Burgundy. The leather is full-grain Crazy Horse, waxed, so it lightens where it bends. Rub a light scuff with a finger and it fades. The crocodile-pattern case is the exception: one finish, no color choice.
Initials
Personalization is optional, and you choose where it goes: a corner, the top or the middle, depending on the model. Stamping presses plain letters, or gold or silver ones, in a single typeface. Before you order
A close fit has a cost: if your next laptop is even slightly larger, this sleeve may not take it. None of these has a shoulder strap.
